If anyone believes in the future of Downtown Wilkes-Barre, it's Joe Matteo.  In 2001, he purchased the Houpt/Stegmaier Mansion at Ross and Franklin.

Built in 1870, this High Victorian gem has been meticulously restored to its former Victorian splendor.

The mansion can accommodate up to 50 people for a  reception and can seat 14 for a  private dinner.  Overnight accommodations will be available by early 2007.

Tours are available by appointment only.  For more information call 570-823-9372.
